You will build and manage the carrier and forwarder network behind the Freight module, negotiating coverage, onboarding partners, and keeping live rates and tracking reliable at scale.
What you'll do
- Source, negotiate, and manage forwarder and carrier partnerships across key lanes.
- Own commercial terms, SLAs, and escalation paths with logistics partners.
- Work with engineering on rate, booking, and tracking integrations.
- Monitor lane performance and rebalance the network as volumes grow.
- Represent Amber in the logistics ecosystem, from ports to industry events.
What we look for
- Five or more years in freight forwarding, carrier management, or logistics procurement.
- Working knowledge of ocean and air freight commercial structures.
- Experience negotiating and managing partner SLAs.
- Data-driven approach to lane performance and cost.
- Fluent English; Dutch or German a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience at a digital forwarder or logistics platform.
- Familiarity with customs and trade compliance workflows.
- An existing network across European and APAC lanes.
